How to Add an Object Library Reference in VBA

1. First of all, click “Visual Basic” in the “Developer” tab, or you can also simply press  shortcut “Alt” + “F11” to open VBA editor.
2. Then click “Tool” in the menu.
3. Next click “References” from the drop down list to open the “References-Project” dialog box.
4. Hence you can select the references you want under the “Available References”.( Here we take “Microsoft Outlook 14.0 Object Library” for an example.)
5. In addition, you’d better to click the up-arrow to let your choice take priority for the next use, .
6. Finally, click “OK”.
7. From right now, the Microsoft Outlook Library is successfully added into the VBA editor. So you can use it freely.
8. In addition, you can also repeat these steps to add other object library references as desired.
